Compression fittings come with nuts & ferrules that mate up to any other dual nut & ferrule compression fitting. They are designed to work excellently with all of our other hose fittings as well as perfectly mating up with other brands for the most stringent applications . Compression fittings are used heavily for connecting up hose assemblies to process & control instruments. These hose fittings are used for faster, simpler connections that also require periodic disconnecting for system maintenance; the tubing or hose system with which the compression fitting is connecting can remain in tact. They are regularly used for systems within the semiconductor, energy, chemical and bio-pharma industries.
Our compression fittings work especially well with our other process instrumentation smooth- and notched tube adapter hose & tube fittings. Compression fitting ferrules are seated with the notched tube adapters. They dig in to the annealed- or "smooth" tube adapters. Both tube adapter design methods make exact seal-tight connections to the compression fitting. When selecting our compression fittings, machined with precision in-house, you decrease the risk of leaks, that can occur more when using common adapters, as well as other hose fittings made with lower precision.
FlexFit Hose compression fittings are also ideal as hose & tube fittings that are part of your manufacturing process system. Flexfit Hose can help you to assess fitting connections for metal tubing, along with providing in-house tube bending services.
Our compression fittings are available in jump sizes. For example, a ¾” hose fitting on the end of our hose assembly can mate up to a ½” compression fitting.
Our standard compression fittings are made from 316L stainless steel. Other materials are available upon request. Please see the options below.
